We hope you’re having a lovely week! We’ve got an exciting art reveal for you all today, so make sure you read until the end of the email 😉

BOOK CLUB LIVESTREAM

This Sunday, 27th April, at 3pm BST, Meg and Jamie will be going live on Instagram as part of our bimonthly bookclub! This will be a super casual livestream, discussing our book club pick (Clockwork Boys by T Kingfisher), and answering any LitPins&Co questions you may have! Hopefully lots of you will be able to join us, we’re really looking forward to it 😁

Head over to our Instagram for more information regarding the book club!

READING UPDATES

We’re somehow approaching the end of April, so we figured it was time to give you another reading update from us all!

Meg: It’s been a busy month for me (surprisingly enough, masters degrees are hard and take up a lot of time!) but alongside reading Clockwork Boys, our book club pick, I also finally finished reading Tea You At The Altar by Rebecca Thorne, the third book in the Tomes and Tea series! I really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next book. I’m also currently in the middle of reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V. E. Schwab, and Holy Terrors by Margaret Owen. Both of them were two of my most anticipated reads for this year, and I’m happy to report that I’m absolutely loving them so far!

Hannah: Continuing her Fruit Baskets binge (manga), first manga she’s ever read and one of the best. Dagger and the Desk for Lockwood, first time reading the novella, really enjoyed it! Finally started reading Can’t Spell Treason Without Tea after Jamie and I nagging her for ages, and she’s loving it!

Jamie: After reading Clockwork Boys, Jamie was itching for more T. Kingfisher so picked up Hemlock and Silver, which she found interesting and enjoyable, if a little strange! She has also restarted reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil, after getting sidetracked by Lockwood&Co last time, and read The Empty Grave by Jonathan Stroud as well!

LOCKWOOD&CO COVER REVEAL

You may have already seen on our Instagram, but we are SO excited to finally reveal the cover for our Legacy Edition of The Screaming Staircase!

The litpins&co Lockwood&Co: The Screaming Staircase cover reveal design. The front cover features art work by Alessia Trunifo and Lettering by Aurelie Maron. The image showcases Lucy in the top centre with rapier in hand with Lockwood and George at either side. The bottom of the front cover features the shadows of the trio with a staircase with ghostly hands. The back cover design features the trio running down the staircase with ghostly apparations chasing after them.

We’re so obsessed with it, and we hope you love it as much as we do 🥰 (Please note that this is a mock up, the final design/product may vary)

The incredible cover artwork is by Alessia Trunfio, and we love how it looks with the beautiful lettering by Aurelie Maron, which we revealed the other week. Our very own Jamie was also involved, providing art and design direction.

You can still preorder our Lockwood&Co legacy edition set on our website, and more art reveals will be coming soon! 👀

That's all from us today! Have a great week 😁

The LitPins Team 💛
