Hi everyone,
Happy December! We hope you’re all doing well 🥰 It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve sat down to write a general updates email but that’s what today’s is - you’ll have to wait until next week for our last announcement of 2025! 😉
LOCKWOOD&CO BOOK CLUB LIVESTREAM!
This Saturday, December 6th, at 6PM GMT, Jamie and I will be chatting to Jonathan Stroud to discuss all things Lockwood&Co as part of our book club!
This livestream will be streamed simultaneously across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and it would be amazing to see lots of you there! We will of course make time for audience questions, so be sure to get yours ready 💚
LOCKWOOD&CO SHIPPING!
On the topic of Lockwood&Co, we wanted to give a quick update regarding the shipping of our Legacy Edition boxes! If you ordered a box you should have received a longer email last week going into more detail about this, but we figured it would be helpful to summarise some of the key details here!
A couple of weeks ago we ran into some issues with Royal Mail, as they discovered an issue in their systems which meant that some of our collections were cancelled. These issues have now been completely resolved, but they did unfortunately delay our Lockwood dispatching! Not only that, but we’ve also been facing a slight issue with slipcases for our Lockwood&Co sets as unfortunately lots of them have arrived with minor damages, forcing us to B-Grade them. This is our main reason why grading has been taking us a little longer than we expected.
For everyone who is waiting on their Lockwood&Co Legacy Edition set, please rest assured that yours will be making its way to you as quickly as possible! Jamie, Roshni, and Buttercup are working so hard to get the last few orders out, and we have multiple collections booked for the next few weeks.
If you are still waiting for your order and you are happy to receive a B-Grade slipcase alongside your A-Grade books then please do reach out to Hannah at help@litpinsandco.com and she’ll be able to discuss this with you! This option would mean that your order could go out faster, and you’d also receive a £5 refund/£5 of points added to your account to compensate for the damaged slipcase. Otherwise please hang tight - we promise your books will be with you ASAP!
HOLIDAY SHIPPING & STORE CLOSURES!
In other shipping news, we wanted to give you all a heads up that the LitPins&Co shop will be closing for the holidays on December 15th! During this time, only pre-order items (our special editions and the Vicious page overlays) and gift cards will be available to purchase.
The shop will not be fully opening up again until January, so be sure to get any Christmas gifts ordered ASAP!
If you're in the UK and place your order before December 15th, you should receive your orders before Christmas (Royal Mail allowing)! We hope this will be the case for the rest of the world too, but we cannot promise this.
STOCK UPDATES!
As this email is full of general updates, I figured now would be a good time to give you a quick stock update for our current special editions!

READING UPDATES!
Finally, as it’s the start of December, I figured I’d conclude this newsletter with a quick reading update from the rest of the team and I!
I (Meg) read six books in November, and overall I enjoyed them all! The stand-outs were definitely Katabasis by R. F. Kuang, Don’t Let The Forest In by CG Drews, and The Sacred Space Between by Kalie Reid - I’d highly recommend them all, they were amazing!
Jamie has been so busy packing and dispatching Lockwood&Co sets that she unfortunately hasn’t had much time to read! She’s still working through An Arcane Inheritance, which she’s really enjoying.
Hannah read two novellas last month, both of which she really recommends - Automatic Noodle by Annalee Newitz and Nine Goblins by T. Kingfisher! She also reread Volumes 1-4 of Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins, and overall loved everything she read in November!
That’s all from us today, have an amazing week!
- The LitPins&Co Team 💛
