Hi everyone,

We hope that you are well and we're sorry to be the bearers of some less than ideal news today.

We have heard from the publishers of our CG Drews Botanical Horror Set that they are having to delay the printing of our books due to internal issues. As a result, the books will be delivered to us later than we intended. Instead of arriving to us at the end of March for shipping in April as we originally intended, the books will now arrive for the start of July and we hope to have them all quality checked and shipped by the end of the same month.

We understand that naturally this will be disappointing for so many of you, and trust us, it is for us too! All of us at LitPins were super excited to finally see these books in person, and we even had our hotels booked so we could all quality check and pack them. Unfortunately, the situation is out of our hands, so instead we are trying to be optimistic and make the best out of a frustrating change of plans. Whilst no one wanted this delay, it has allowed us to make some slight alterations to our set, and to bring some good news to those on our waitlist.

Firstly, as advertised, this set will include a letter from CG Drews. Initially, we planned to have this printed separately to the book and included in our overlay packs, as was the case for our legacy editions of Vicious and Lockwood&Co. Due to the delay, however, we've been able to adjust this. CG has very kindly written a second letter, and these letters will now be bound into their respective books, rather than included separately. It’s clear that these letters came from the heart, and they will provide some delightful insight into the books.

Now, onto the good news for those on the waitlist. Because printing has been delayed, we have been able to adjust our order. There will now be an additional 500 unsigned sets printed alongside our signed editions. Those on the waitlist will be offered a chance to purchase these, rather than waiting for the possibility of any leftover signed stock in July. Whilst these sets are not signed, we hope that the certainty of having a set is worth it rather than taking a gamble on there being cancellations or returns.

Over the next few weeks, we'll begin to reach out to those on the waitlist with the chance to purchase an unsigned set. Once everyone on the waitlist has been contacted, we will know the exact number of remaining unsigned sets and these will be available for general sale.

We can only apologise for this delay, but we thank you for your understanding and patience. We hope that the fact we can offer more people the chance to have their own set as well as including bound in author letters will go some way towards making up for it. We're also going to share a sneak peak with you all of our overlay pack design which has been designed by our latest team member Lizzie, who will be helping us design our Botanical Horror Merch collection that we'll be releasing in May.

If you have any questions at all regarding the delay or would like to have your order cancelled, then please pop us an email at help@litpinsandco.com and Hannah will be more than happy to help.

Love,

The LitPins&Co Team
