I hope you’re all well, and happy official Autumn! Today’s newsletter is a short one - read on for some Percy Jackson reveals and a quick update on how the Botanical Horror shipping is going!
PERCY JACKSON ART REVEAL!
Firstly, we’ve now revealed the first three covers for our special edition set of Percy Jackson and the Olympians!
We are absolutely obsessed with all of these covers and we hope you are too - I (Meg) think that The Titan’s Curse might be my personal favourite of the set, but I know a lot of the team particularly love the cover for The Battle of The Labyrinth! Stay tuned to see the final two covers over the next couple of weeks, with further art reveals coming very shortly after 😉
All of the dust jackets are by the wonderful Velinxi, with stunning lettering by Isabel Burke and art direction by Jamie-Lee Turner. At the time of writing this newsletter, we have 3,570 sets remaining out of an initial 5,000! Stock is moving steadily, so if you’re interested in a set we’d recommend grabbing one ASAP to avoid disappointment 💙
Plus, whilst we’re on the topic of Percy Jackson artwork… we shared this little sneak peek of the sprayed edges on our Instagram story the other day so I figured it would only be fair if I also shared it here!
The sprayed edges are by Alessia Trunfio and form three complete images - one on the top edge, one on the fore-edge, and one on the bottom edge! We are SO excited for you to see them all 🤭 We’ll be sharing the edges in their entirety once all of the covers are reveals, so keep an eye on our socials!

BOTANICAL HORROR SHIPPING!
In other news, we wanted to give you all a little update on the shipping progress of our Botanical Horror sets! Firstly, we promise your set will be making its way to you shortly, if it hasn’t already reached you, and we are so sorry that it’s taken us longer to dispatch them than we anticipated!
Essentially, we all seemingly blacked out just how much time slipcases add to the quality checking process (the last time we had slipcases was Lockwood&Co, and we had a lot of issues with those slipcases, so I think it’s a stress response)! Combine this with needing to figure out the processes required for EU shipping (which has now resumed!), and we’ve needed longer to get these sets ready to go than we anticipated. We should have the final signed sets out within the next two weeks, after which we’ll be able to process upgrades and additional orders based on overstock and then begin shipping the unsigned sets in batches.
Unfortunately, we are a small team, and only three team members are able to get to our warehouse on a regular basis to work on quality checking and packing sets, along with packing and dispatching usual shop orders. It's something that we are actively working on - we're in the process of hiring two new team members to be based permanently in our warehouse to help us shorten this delay and help in managing deliveries and quality checking in the future.
