What's the difference between an A/B/C grade?

Firstly let me begin by saying that no enamel pin is ever perfect! Due to the nature of the manufacturing process, most pins will have some kind of flaw.

  • A grades are the best of a production batch. The ones with minimal flaws and look exactly as intended.
  • B grades have slight flaws that aren't instantly noticeable such as dust/dirt in the enamel, slight scratches, miscoloured enamel or small missing enamel sections.
  • C grades have obvious flaws such as deep gouges, large miscoloured areas or missing sections - and thankfully are much rarer.

If you plan to display your pins on your bookshelf, on a pin banner or anywhere indoors, I recommend an A grade as they will stay in good condition.

If you plan to wear your pins/expose them to the elements, I would opt for B/C grades for the best value.

The metal on my enamel pins has started to change colour, what should I do?

Metal tarnish is very common and is a completely normal and unavoidable process.

You can buy a range of different products specifically designed to help clean silver plated items.

I personally recommend a polish-infused cloth as it is gentler on the surface and you don't run the risk of using too much polish and creating even more damage.

Where is my order?

I aim to ship orders within 5 business days. However, during busier periods - such as during sale, new product drops or holiday shopping - our processing times will increase slightly.

All UK orders are posted Tracked 48 as standard.

If you are based internationally and you have paid for tracked shipping, please refer to your tracking email to see the whereabouts of your order.

Estimated preorder shipping dates are listed on their product page. Please remember - if you have a preorder item within your order, all items will be shipped together once they are all in hand.

Please review the following guidance on shipping estimates:

  • For UK orders, please allow at least 2 weeks for delivery.
  • For EU orders, please allow at least 4 weeks for delivery.
  • For US orders, please allow at least 4 to 6 weeks for delivery - for EAST and WEST coast respectively.
  • For all other countries, please allow at least 6 weeks.

If your item still has not arrived in the above times, please don't hesitate to get in touch via email help@litpinsandco.com

I've changed my mind! I want to cancel / return my order, what should I do?

To cancel or return an order, please contact us at help@litpinsandco.com with your order number.

If your order hasn't shipped yet, we can cancel it for a full refund.

If you change your mind about an order after it has been shipped, you will need to return the items at your own expense. Once we receive the returned items in the same condition they were sent in, we will then issue a refund.

My order arrived wrong or damaged! What do I do?

Oh no! Please email help@litpinsandco.com so we can help you!

If any of the items in your order are incorrect or damaged, we can refund or replace the items at no extra cost to yourself.

Please be aware that B/C graded items are advertised as defected and, therefore, cannot be refunded.

Can I add something to my order / combine my orders?

Of course! Email help@litpinsandco.com with your order number and we can add the item(s) for you directly.

If you have made multiple orders and would like to combine them, let us know the order number for each order to be combined. We will then refund you the surplus postage.

Please note - we can only do this if your original order hasn't shipped yet, so the sooner you get in touch, the better!

How do pre-orders work?

Generally, pre-orders are for items that have not yet been made.

They not only help me to gauge interest for certain products and allow me the freedom to experiment with new things but they also act as a way to fund those new projects.

Think of it like Kickstarter - but without the extra fees!

An estimated shipping date will be included in the title and listing of every preorder.

If you have ordered several items and one is a preorder item, your order WILL NOT SHIP until the preorder has arrived.

I recommend making a separate order completely for preorder items to avoid any confusion.

Alternatively, you can email help@litpinsandco.com to pay for any additional postage needed to ship your non-preorder items separately.

Are you eco-friendly?

As a small business, I try to be as eco-friendly as possible.

All of my packaging is recyclable from my cardboard boxes to my backing cards, to my biodegradable tissue paper to my compostable plastic sleeves.

Whereever possible, I source my packaging and products from UK based businesses in order to reduce my carbon footprint.

Who do I contact about commissions, collaborations or other business questions?
