Happy August! I hope you’re all doing well, and are managing ok in the heat. Today’s email is just a short one, as the team has been busy working away on various projects that we can’t tell you about yet… let me just say though, there’s lots left to look forward to this year 🤭

IMMORTAL GAME - NOW SHIPPING!

First and foremost, our edition of Immortal Game is now shipping! 🥳

We’re so proud of this edition, and can’t wait to see you all receive your copies! Shipping is happening in batches, so please don’t be concerned if you haven’t received a dispatch confirmation yet. Your book will be making its way to you shortly, we promise!

This now means that, if you order Immortal Game along with anything else that we currently have in the warehouse (aka not pre-orders), your shipping cost will be combined, saving you money! This includes purchases of multiple books, so if any fans of sapphic fantasy are reading this then now is the perfect chance to stock up as all three of our most recent releases (Immortal Game, An Education In Malice, and The Incandescent) are sapphic 😉

BOTANICAL HORROR SETS

Speaking of special editions, we are now less than two weeks away from our special edition set of Don’t Let The Forest In and Hazelthorn FINALLY arriving in our warehouse! We are all so excited and we know you guys are too 🥰

Ahead of their arrival to us, we will be sending out address check emails over the next week, so please keep an eye on your emails if you ordered a set! This will also be a chance to add extra items to your order if you want to save on shipping costs, and we’ll even be giving you all early access to a selection of merchandise from our upcoming merch drop, including some brand new officially licensed CG Drews items! 😉

As a reminder of the expected timeline for these editions, we are expecting to ship all orders out in late-August/early-September! We quality check every single book we send out by hand, hence the slight delay between us receiving them and being able to dispatch them, but we promise we’ll go as quickly as we can - the whole team is heading to HQ to help out, and we’ve even managed to rope in some extra friends to help out!

If you haven’t gotten your hands on a set but are wanting one, we recommend joining the waitlist! We always hold back some copies of our books in case of damages, but if these extra sets aren’t needed, or if they’re slightly damaged but good enough to sell as B-Grade sets, then we will be contacting those on the waitlist on a first-come-first-serve basis with a chance to purchase. If we are able to do this, it will be in mid to late August, once we’ve been able to start quality checking the books!

SCORPION DEEP UNSIGNED REMINDER

Whilst on the topic of CG Drews, we also quickly wanted to remind you all that we are currently in the early access stage for our final unsigned copies of Scorpion Deep! If you joined the waitlist, please be sure to check your emails and reply ASAP if you’re still interested in purchasing a copy. If you signed up to the newsletter but did not receive an early access email, please reply to this email and Hannah will be able to double check that you were on the waitlist and then provide you with early access!

If you did not sign up to the newsletter then don’t fear - you’re not too late! We have enough copies to guarantee a limited general sale on August 19th, at 5pm BST. We expect the copies available in that general sale to sell out quite quickly, so be sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out!

MCM BIRMINGHAM

Finally, we are at MCM Birmingham this weekend! The event runs from today until Sunday in the Birmingham NEC, and we’ll be there all three days. You’ll be able to find us in Hall 4, Stall 4J13, and we’ll have plenty of exciting merchandise with us - take a look at the catalogue below! We’re also part of a Heated Rivalry stamp rally, so be sure to stop by and take part 😉
