I hope you’re all doing well, and Happy October! It’s gearing up to be a very busy month here at LitPins&Co, but hopefully a very exciting one… For now, here are some general updates from us to start the month!
PERCY JACKSON ART REVEAL!
Firstly, we’ve now revealed four of the five covers for our special edition set of Percy Jackson and the Olympians!
We are absolutely obsessed with all of these covers and we hope you are too! We’ll be revealing the final cover next week, and sprayed edges will be following very shortly 😉
All of the dust jackets are by the wonderful Velinxi, with stunning lettering by Isabel Burke and art direction by Jamie-Lee Turner. At the time of writing this newsletter, we have 3,540 sets remaining out of an initial 5,000! Stock is moving steadily, so if you’re interested in a set we’d recommend grabbing one HERE to avoid disappointment 💙
OCTOBER EVENTS!
Speaking of October being very busy, we’ll be attending three events this month!
Firstly, we’re at Questival TOMORROW, October 3rd. This event is running from 10am-4pm in Hulme Hall, Port Sunlight, and we’re so excited to be attending.
After that, we’ll be at MCM London on October 23rd - 25th in the ExCel Centre! This is our second time attending MCM London and we absolutely cannot wait.
And finally, we’ll be at YALC on October 31st - November 1st in the London Hilton Metropole! YALC is always a highlight of our year and hopefully we’ll see lots of you there.
At all of these events, we’ll be selling our merchandise plus a selection of our special edition books! We may also have an announcement at YALC, but that’s still tbc… 👀🗡️
SPECIAL EDITION UPDATES!
We also just want to give you a quick update on some of our existing special editions which are either currently shipping or due to be shipping soon! If you’ve ordered Botanical Horror, A Market of Dreams and Destiny, An Arcane Inheritance, Vicious, or Vengeful, please be sure to read the below 💛
Botanical Horror Sets: We are still in the process of shipping out these sets - we promise we’re going as fast as we possibly can! We’re hoping to have all signed sets shipped within the week. Quality checking has already commenced on the unsigned sets, so Hannah will be in touch about potential upgrades and excess copies shortly, and we’re hoping to have all unsigned sets dispatched by the end of October. We are truly SO sorry for this delay - unfortunately, between the quality checking taking longer due to slipcases and the warehouse team needing to also work on ironing out EU shipping, time just slipped away from us. We promise your sets will be on their way to you as soon as possible, thank you for all your patience 💛
An Arcane Inheritance: As a reminder, we’re on track to (finally) receive these books around October 9th! As soon as we get these books in hard we’ll begin quality checking and dispatching as quickly as we can, so hopefully you’ll have your books by the end of October 🤞
A Market of Dreams and Destiny, Vicious, and Vengeful: Unfortunately, we’re still awaiting a final delivery date for all of these editions. Trust us, we’re as impatient as you, but it’s unfortunately entirely out of our hands. As soon as we have a date, we’ll be in touch with an updated timeframe. We are truly so sorry for all of this, we promise your books will be worth the wait!
